The North Essex Business Resource Breakfast is a structured networking event providing each attendee the opportunity to present a brief commercial about their business and interact with members and guests. Each breakfast features a business leader speaking on a topic of interest. Continental breakfast is provided.

The Best Diet for Your Dog or Cat From a Veterinarian's Perspective
What diet trends are true, which are misleading, and which are actually dangerous?

Presented by Brian Sposato, Medical Director at Bond Vet Montclair

This talk will provide an overview of the various types of diets that are available that you can feed your dog or cat and Brian's recommendations as a veterinarian. Brian has spent a lot of time discussing with pet owners what types of food to feed and which to avoid. Currently, there is a very large variety of pet foods to choose from which has led to making a decision on what to feed your pet confusing. Further, the emerging trend of social media being a large contributor to our source of information has led to many different untested diets becoming mainstream. This talk is intended to provide some guidelines for pet owners so you can feel more confident about selecting an appropriate food for your dog or cat.

About Brian Sposato
Brian graduated from veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and since then has been practicing veterinary medicine on cats and dogs. He enjoys forming genuine relationships with clients and the challenges of helping patients who can't directly communicate with us. He is always excited to learn new things in and out of work. When he is not at work, you can find Brian spending time with his family, going for a walk, or trying to fix something in the house. Currently, Brian serves as the Medical Director at Bond Vet, a full-service veterinary hospital in Montclair.
